Straight into Film

Identity and website design for creative arts charity.

Film It use film to encourage hard-to-reach young people to improve their lives. Straight into Film was a series of courses that needed to appeal to them without being patronising, so an identity was developed based on the process of filming (rather than the results) using familiar iconography as part of the logotype. Central to the project was a blog site where students could post thoughts, images and video. A final DVD collected the finished films.
